The church is on the winning side. If you're a Christian who has accepted Jesus as your Savior, then you’ve chosen the eternal winning team. Christians are on the side of Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit, which have dominance over evil, the devil, and demons. God’s people walk in light and spread their message and intentions openly. The Angels in heaven outnumber the fallen Angels, and hell 2 to 1. The devil and his fallen angels do their work in darkness. Even the most powerful people in the occult and Satanism do their work in darkness an attempt to trick people into darkness and sin. They do not have the power to stand against righteousness nor can they even tolerate hearing the powerful name Jesus. In today's world it seems easy to forget all this because evil so prevalent in our entertainment and media show acts of evil constantly. Movies regularly show demons and evil spirits doing extraordinary things. They are presented as powerful and those who seek to cast them out are depicted as being powerless. It's hard to find a positive story on the news. Artists who sing about good positive topics are ridiculed or call the week. This is because the devil has to change the perception that people have of good and evil. In reality, Ghost Hunter episodes on TV show their attempts to contact or find evidence of evil spirits, which usually comes up empty. They get excited over hearing a door close worked out in the dark. The devil doesn't want people to know that evil will one day be vanquished forever and ever. Nor does he want people to know that he is going to the Lake of fire and so is everyone else that follows him or do not accept Jesus Christ. The devil provides temporary pleasures to mislead people. Whatever the devil gives, he later takes away. He always takes away more than he ever gives.
Each time you go to the grocery store. You can see the tabloids and newspapers full of of people who are considered “successful”. Many famous celebrities are people struggling with alcoholism and drugs while dealing with depression. Some wealthy people have the best of everything; houses, cars, and beautiful people all around them. Yet these people still hungering for more, and are never satisfied or truly happy.
Proverbs 27:20 Sheol and Abandon are never satisfied; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.
Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.
The truth is that nothing in this world can satisfy the desires and souls of men. Apart from God, there will always be an emptiness or void. This is a target area of the devil. He seeks to present happiness by presenting things that are sinful and evil as a way to feel the empty void in man. He uses desires of the flesh, which we were against daily, to draw people away from God. Sex, drugs, and money are the temptations of choice. Since the book of Genesis, the temptation of sin this cause people to lose their souls.

In the past the devil has tempted people with evil covertly so they could indulge in their sins without scrutiny. But in these last evil days, those who do evil are emboldened to do it out in front of everyone. Gay pride parades happen down the main streets of the largest cities in our country. Movies and television regularly show adult seems during the daytime. There’s little shame in defying God in today’s society. There’s very little fear or judgment from God.

People who conjure spells and demons are doing their work in the open with a kind of,”in-your-face” attitude. I've shown the demonic rave music concert in Europe in the past called Qlimax. It's crazy because there aren’t any real headline performers on stage. Most people have not heard of the performers. The venues Qlimax performs are as large as any Beyonce or Taylor Swift concert. But they have satanic rituals and on stage and conjured demons to speak to the audio system. People dance wildly while drinking and doing drugs. Some slither on the ground like snakes and taking their clothes off while others began fighting. In between each song the DJ (usually a satanic priest) spews out Luciferian doctrines and teachings from the satanic Bible.

Another global satanic festival is called Tomorrowland. In the past it was held in the United States. This year will be held in Jerusalem, Israel July 19-21, 2019 and had over 140,000 attendees, based on ticket sales. This presented as an innocent but is actually a huge occult/New Age recruiting event with spells and séances. For some, reading this lesson may seem alarming or shocking. Many Christians I know have never heard of any of these events. Yet these events, and many smaller ones, have been going on and are growing. Wicca is the fastest-growing religion in the United States, though most Christians believe that Christianity is the fastest growing religion. I’m hoping this lesson will bring awareness to the church regarding some of the activities of our enemy. An enemy can grow very powerful when they’ve never been challenged or face opposition. They become more bold and capable of more evil.
It is time the church, which is the most powerful through the Holy Spirit, began to stand up and come together. We need to fast and pray against wickedness in this world. These satanic mega-rituals have an impact on our society and country, which we see becoming more and more evil. It is good to always pray as individuals but it is better only pray on one accord, especially against evil works. Church communities and denominations need to come together to subdue this open spiritual attack. We should be encouraged and empowered by the example of the disciples.

Let’s be awake, aware, and vigilant praying against works of darkness. Using the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ can destroy the works of darkness. Two or three gathered to gather in prayer can shut down the evil works of thousands. Come on church. Let's start putting our weapons of prayer and fasting to use!!!
